EDEN PROJECT
Castle Fine Arts went to the Eden Project to provide a bronze pouring display for the visiting public.
In the shadow of the biomes the foundry cast a number of bronze leaves to herald the beginning of a new project for the internationally renowned centre.
The art project was initiated and developed through what is hoped will be a long lasting partnership.

YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK
The foundry runs a range of practical hands on courses, which provide the opportunity to learn about the process and cast pieces of your own work.
Our “Introduction to Bronze Casting’’ course is designed to give an insight into the ceramic shell process and the working of the art foundry. Limited to ten places, the course runs over five consecutive days. Each student models in wax, and casts in bronze two sculptures, finishing with the patination.

MANCHESTER AID TO KOSOVO
We became aware of Manchester Aid to Kosovo (MaK) in 2005 when Mike Anitt from the charity approached us for advice on creating a small foundry in Kosovo. MAK visited the foundry to view the process just before Christmas in 2005. That was the start of our relationship with MaK. MaK has a 10 year history in Kosovo and has developed over this time from a crisis aid response to a charity in which art projects are now central.
The foundry donated a lot of the materials needed to set up a small scale foundry and gives continued support. Mike later came to work for Castle Fine Arts and now manages the foundry area.

Castle Fine Arts association with Ancient Arts goes back many years, sharing the fascination for bronze.
As we have evolved by introducing new developments into our foundry process, David has evolved Ancient Arts through trying to discover the very roots of bronze casting.
